Lotharius: Angel of War
After the War in Heaven, in the aftermath of the Archangel Michael smiting Lucifer, and casting him down from Heaven into the abyss of Hell, the kingdom of Heaven began the process of rebuilding.
Michael, aware that the Fallen Angel would not stay contained forever, saw the necessity of a new Angel. One bred for one, single, definable purpose. War.
Combat, strategy, leadership, battle tactics...if it had to do with the art of War, it was taught to this new angel. There would be nothing of peace, healing, preaching the Faith. As he matured, his arts progressed at a phenomenal rate. Swords, guns, any weapon of destruction ever created was taught to him. When the time came to end his training, he was donned with his holy armor, and given the flaming sword of Michael himself. Training was over.
The next step was preparation. The time would come when Evil would attack the world, the human population decimated. When it happened, they would be ready. He would lead the armies of heaven in this new war and decimate the armies of destruction. However, preparation would be short. Devastation had wracked the earth. Nuclear war, a plague the likes of which the world had never seen. Regardless of whether he was prepared or not....it was time to go to war.
